The conducts were carried out in the aftermath of two relevant decisions of the Supreme Court Joint Sections, the last of which changed the punitive aim of the rule, making punishable conducts that were not punishable before. In fact, while until 2017 no criminal significance was ascribed to the conduct of those who, although authorized to access a computer system, did so for unlawful purposes, as of today this is no longer the case.
